Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor
The ABPM-05 is a very small and light, programmable blood pressure recorder, for 24-hour or 48-hour bloodless use in the examinee’s normal life and activity conditions. The system includes MEDITECH’s accurate and proven operational (BHS – AAMI) oscillometric method algorithm to ensure reliable pressure measurements with short measurement time. Its silent operation and its compact construction allow the recorder to be used both during the day and at night with minimal discomfort to the patient.
The device is capable of making 600 measurements using 2 rechargeable AA batteries and storing 600 values ​​in its internal digital memory, which retains the stored information even if the batteries are removed.
The examinee has the possibility to start measurements beyond the regularly scheduled ones and to mark any incidents as well as to separate the period of use into day and night.
The ABPM-05 data logger is connected via a fiber optic cable to the serial port of a simple computer for programming its operation and high-speed transfer of the stored measurements for further analysis by the software.
The software is user-friendly, uses a graphical interface to enter programming parameters, and offers reliable analysis and presentation of results.
